I am a 23 year old female. My boyfriend is 26, and we have been together for two years. I'll start by saying that he's had a lot of female friends, some he's even had a past with. He's from a different state, so I haven't met all of them but there have been moments where if he'll tell me he had a thing with someone even before me I'll get really weird and jealous. So anyways, this morning he randomly tells me about a female friend who I've never heard of, saying that she posted online that her cat had passed away and that the girl was a friend from high school. Instantly I ask him, who is that? He accuses me of being jealous almost instantly, and so I ask him if they had a thing ever. His response was that it didn't matter if they had or not, and that I didn't need to know everything. Then I tell him that I should've assumed that he probably was talking about a friend he saw on his trip as he just got back last week. He answered with a "No, it's the 1000 people I follow on instagram, it could be anything." Later that night, I said to him "Your friend, the one you told me about, did you hang out with her"? He said no. I wasn't specific, did he know who I was talking about even though I didn't mention her name when I asked?
