On average they always pretend to like the kids from their partners previous marriage but then when they have kids with the husband or wife, they always place their kids over the other ones and treat them better. I notice this more with step moms than step dads. Step moms are the worst.

I would hope in the future if I ever get married and divorce, that my ex wouldn't remarry because 9/10 the new wife would most likely disregard my children, and if anything were to happen to me, I know for a fact that the new woman wouldn't look out for my kids.

Before a couple days i was sleeping with my boyfriend and i woke up by him talking in his sleep saying " I miss you so much. why did you leave me? " and kind of crying. I assumed that he was dreaming of his mother or something and I didn't wake him up. In the morning i asked if he's ok and instead of talking about it he just wanted to hug me and then he told me that he will go out. When i talked to my best friend is friend she told me to dump him because he will treat me like his mother soon and this is a bad sign ( that he cried and didn't answer my Q). I told her he never treated me that way! But she tried to convince me that he will and everything will get worse from there. Is she telling the truth? He never treated me like "his mother" and I really love him but i don't know if she's right or not.
