A socially awkward star football player touched me while I was intoxicated one night. Two days later I went to the coach to get the players number. The coach asked why and I told him. The coach wanted to handle it but I told him I want to deal with it myself. So I texted the player to meet somewhere so I can get my apology. While I was there, the player kept trying to hug me and kept saying sorry and asking me "are we cool" repeatedly. I assured him there was no hard feelings but he kept trying to hug me so I slapped his hands away. When I left he text me saying "you cool people and I don't want that to change. 2 months later I texted multiple people asking "when does school start and does anyone have the new coach number"? So I texted the player he said "who is this"? I said my name but he read it and didn't reply. School started and we were back to practice ( I'm a water girl). I was moving a cooler (my head was down) and someone banged on the cooler. I looked up and it was him. He said hey and smiled, then walked away. One day I offered him my Gatorade and he was happy. Next day he came to me asking for my new one playfully. The next day another player asked me for a waterfall and the star football player walked up beside me, and told the other football player to pass him MY Gatorade, I told him he could just ask for it and he smiled at me while drinking it lol. So 10 minutes later my friend asked me for a waterfall and said the kind I got was real good. The star walked slowly in front of me, listening to the convo and suddenly asked "yea what kind is it?" I said "strawberry watermelon" he said "yea it's good"
