I met this guy on Match.com, he's 48 and I'm 44. We both look/act much younger and into same high energy activities. Great conversations for 2 weeks, met for first date near the beach, walked back to his place to relax and meet his dog. Very good physical chemistry the whole time. watched tv.messed around (no sex) but very passionate. So much in common. Played with the dog.etc. Very gentlemanly. Passionate goodbye hugs/kisses, he wouldn't stop. Lots of compliments on my appearance. The next day, I texted him to say I had a great time and made reference to looking forward to seeing him again. He called me about 20 minutes later and said he wanted to clarify so he didn't mislead me.that he wasn't looking for a GF, and rambled on about how he doesn't want to have to call someone everyday, as he would just "shut down" from being suffocated.and is really busy with holidays coming up, and work, etc. I said "WELL, ITS OK. .YOU DONT HAVE TO SAY THAT.IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GO OUT AGAIN, NO PROBLEM.REALLY, WE CAN JUST SAY GOODBYE AND WE HAD FUN THAT NIGHT".He said several times "NO, I HAD A GREAT TIME WITH YOU, I LOVE YOUR HAIR (AND ALL KINDS OF OTHER STUFF) BUT EVERY NOW AND THEN.".or something like that.

I had to tell him that I'm OK with taking his lead, and seeing him, as he wants, casually, like once a month or so, but I'm wondering.WTF? I told him "LOOK, I'M NOT READING BRIDE MAGAZINE OR ANYTHING DUDE.IT WAS A FUN TIME, AND IF YOU WANT TO DO IT AGAIN.COOL.IF NOT, I GET IT". He said it's OK if I "text him" now and then, but he will get backt o me after Thanksgiving (which is about 3 weeks from the date.

Frankly, I don't think he will call. And I don't want to be "needy" and call or text him.it will only prove his point. But I told him that I don't like playing games, and we discussed during our date that we don't like one night stands.I thought he knew where I was coming from.

He is 2 years divorced. I'm single.
