Search Results: how to lose love handles

I know this guy about a year and while I love talking to him, I have no attraction or want to be romantic with him. He is not my type in the slightest. And he keeps saying things in texts that are really starting to annoy me and make me feel uncomfortable. I don’t want to hurt him but should I just be out straight with him? I’m kinda scared to tell him cause I’ve lost two guy friends who I really liked cause they wanted to be more. Where you ever in this situation and how did you handle it?

I was 110 pounds 5'3 5 months ago. Because of stress of grad school, I started eating very unhealthy, and at my part time job, started eating more caloriewise heavy foods like pizza, burgers etc. I gained 26 pounds and now I am 136 pounds.

I have never been this heavy, with love handles and belly, and very thick legs. It disturbs me, not that it disturbs me on the mirror how I look but rather when i go hiking or out walking. I notice I am much heavier and less athletic.

I am determined to lose weight before it gets out of control and I end up as a miserable obese person. So I decided to join a dietbet to lose 10% of my current bet within six months, which makes it 13.6 pounds, and back to 122-123 pounds, better than nothing.

BUT when I checked other people joining it, it makes me feel ashamed like I am making fun of them because most of them are 300-400 people, they have to lose 40-50 pounds and I have to love only 13 pounds.

Should I join or should I respect them and not join?
