Imagine you knew your partner had done sexual things with other people before they met you, how would you feel hearing about the details of these experiences?

For example, imagine they began casually discussing these experiences with their friends in front of you, or even if your partner began telling you details about it in private. How would you feel about this, would it bother you at all?

This question is inspired because from early on in our relationship, my husband would talk about these things in front of me. And I don't just mean confessing that he'd done stuff, but giving details, even joking about it. A few times even his friends and family have brought the topic up in front of me, and casually chatted about the details while I just sit there awkwardly having to hear it all.

This made me feel very uncomfortable and upset, but my husband and his friends don't understand why and think I should just get over it and get used to listening to it, because it's what they like to talk about.

How would you guys feel in this situation?
