Hypothetical situation - If a girl you basically just met was cuddling (both laying, she's by your side with her head on your shoulder) with you since you got on really well with her over the course of a party (of which you have noticed that she is quite cuddly with other people). You move in, kiss her on the lips, and instantly get rejected, only to learn that she just enjoys cuddling with friends and that you shouldn't of made that move.


As a guy, I feel that it would make sense to make the move, but I understand that, just because the situation is the way that it is, it doesn't give me the right to make the move. Would it be wrong to say the guy was somewhat led on?
Or was the guy at fault for not taking external queues (seeing that she's cuddly) and making a move that he shouldn't of?
If there's factors such as, her not moving away from the kiss, her telling him the whole 'just cuddle with friends' situation before the kiss, or even a different type of cuddling e. g sitting up with his arm around her, how would it change things?

My little brother is 16. He's the playboy type, porta flirting with different girls. Usually pretty cute ones and he's right there. He's never gotten slapped, though he's known guys who have and he laughed. He's bragged he'll block it from any girl if 1 tries, no matter how cute. Yesterday when I went to pick him up, he was outside talking with these 2 girls. 1 blonde, 1 brunette. Both really cute.1 was on each side of him. He was talking and had a big smirk on his face. Facing the brunette now. He tries to explain something and she goes😒😒and hangs out HER right hand slap! Just as fast as the blonde. He goes😯😯froze again, got his face turned by her slap. A few guys standing around started laughing hard, seeing it happen to him. When he got in the car, I asked him how come he didn't block those slaps. At first he said he let it happen. I KNOW that wasn't true. When we got home, he asked me to convince our parents to let him take karate, since they'll listen to me. He's right, they will. He doesn't know any karate at all.
