It is twelve o'two, I get dressed & make my way to get a cup of coffee

A glass mug getting its fill, I notice the plastic throwaways, the lids & cups are next to each other on the shelf

I step into the kitchen to take stock of anything to eat,

I stand still & stare into half an empty sink

next to me he says “what’s wrong with you?

I go grab to grab my cup & leave

the atheist then left that room to drink his coffee elsewhere,

the cable box is stuck, frozen up upon entry

but that was for the best

Turning on some truth from mytube I quickly notice thereafter

a truth more pressing,

it is twelve-eleven

Back to the machine to make a coffee for class, soon

The specious truth of the lid & the cup are a lie

it’s huge & needing to be bent on

“Who put these lids & cups together?”

“I did, they were right beside each other…”

From another room I swap the stack of lids with the right ones

“…so they must have been separated”

I forego the bag, not needing it today

I pull out of the driveway with the drink besides me & stare blankly up the street ahead into a future

as one would down the barrel of a gun

The vaporizer quickly ran out of charge on the way

leaving me with only the clouds above to look up to as I pulled into a busy & hurried campus

In the knick of time I arrive as class commenced

but it didn’t matter

Math had some hurdles, but some victories, didn’t need to say a word to anyone

in fact

it went well enough but for one thing,

I had forgotten the damn drink

People left early & so did I,

it was warm enough to stomach

which I did before pulling out of the parking lot & heading back towards that house

white enough to smile at passing cop cars

male enough to jerk myself off at the intersections

American enough to salute the hanging flags on the streets

& aff

So showing skin... though usually girls dress more revealing... their shorts are thigh length, their shirts have lower necklines, sometimes they show their back or stomach while guys never do, etc. Despite that, girls are more likely to also be self conscious, and refuse to wear anything that shows skin in general, no matter how hot it is.

Though guys usually show less skin, they seem to be more lax about showing skin when it's hot and such. Whether it's wearing shorts, or short sleeves/no sleeves, or taking their shirts off at the pool/beach. A lot of girls are self-conscious about that kind of stuff, in comparison.

And it kind of makes me wonder... In heterosexual couples, who's usually more lax about showing skin and other bodily matters? The girl or the guy?

Who's more likely to say something like, "Are you sure you want to wear those long sleeves and long pants today? We're going to be outside a lot, and it's really hot today, babe!" or "Don't be afraid to wear a swimsuit! You look great in them! Do you plan to wear pants to the beach or something?"

If you ask me, it's the guy who's more lax about this type of stuff, since girls usually tend to overanalyze themselves and be self-conscious... but I could be wrong.

So living in Orlando Florida where it's so hot outside, and just USA society in general becoming more comfortable with bodies, I've began to see more and more girls/women wearing shorts in which show their butt cheeks... thong bikinis at the beach too, if it matters, but everyone dresses revealing at the beach anyways (the default bikini is already revealing, and guys go bare chested with small trunks), so it's not a problem.

However, butt cheek shorts in day to day life are not that usual, and still make lots of people uncomfortable to this day.

What's your take on them?


As for me, personally, it depends on how much butt cheek it is. If it's only a little bit peeking out at the bottom near the upper thighs, then maybe it's not so bad. You can even try to think of it as upside down cleavage. And she can maybe blame it on her thighs and ass being being, and the shorts rising up a bit.

However, if it's so much butt cheek to the extent that her shorts look like denim panties or whatever... then it's just a bit much. It'd be the equivalent to a little bit of cleavage versus boobs just spilling out. The former arguably looks good, the latter just looks a bit trashy.
