How do you feel about girls/women wearing shorts in which show their butt cheeks?

So living in Orlando Florida where it's so hot outside, and just USA society in general becoming more comfortable with bodies, I've began to see more and more girls/women wearing shorts in which show their butt cheeks... thong bikinis at the beach too, if it matters, but everyone dresses revealing at the beach anyways (the default bikini is already revealing, and guys go bare chested with small trunks), so it's not a problem.

However, butt cheek shorts in day to day life are not that usual, and still make lots of people uncomfortable to this day.

What's your take on them?


As for me, personally, it depends on how much butt cheek it is. If it's only a little bit peeking out at the bottom near the upper thighs, then maybe it's not so bad. You can even try to think of it as upside down cleavage. And she can maybe blame it on her thighs and ass being being, and the shorts rising up a bit.

However, if it's so much butt cheek to the extent that her shorts look like denim panties or whatever... then it's just a bit much. It'd be the equivalent to a little bit of cleavage versus boobs just spilling out. The former arguably looks good, the latter just looks a bit trashy.

If I'm at the beach I'm more lenient with the shorts I wear, but if it's day to day life I'm not going to wear shorts where it's really visible even when I go to the beach I make sure it's not extremely visible. If I went around in day to day life and it was? I'd probably get sexually harassed due to the type of body I have.

It's totally possible for people to be "verbally harrassed" as well... but yes, when people say "harrass" they usually mean physically.

Around in my area, no matter how skimpy a woman is dressed and how big her butt and boobs are, physical sexual harrassment just doesn't happen. It's one of the most looked down upon crimes ever.

But it might be different in your area, so... yeah.

Yeah, it really depends on the area. Where I'm at it happens sometimes depends on how you present yourself and where you are. When I visit my grandparents who lives entirely in a different area I never get sexually harassed, but she also lives in a small town.

While that's understandable, butt cheeks aren't necessarily "dirty"... they're really no different than the skin on your arms, your legs, or your face. It's just skin. The only part that's dirty is the literal butt hole, since it's where the poop comes from.

I lean more towards the "it's trashy" side. In general it isn't something I find to be desirable and I understand wanting to keep cool but I've never even cared for a lot of the bikinis I've seen. I'll be at the beach and think, " it's a good thing that isn't my girlfriend".

I'm conflicted. On one hand, I love to see it. But, I don't think girls (especially minors) should dress like that in public (except maybe at the beach).

Once a woman shows cleavage or butt cheek, she's pretty much going from being dressed innocently, to being dressed sexually.

Showing the legs isn't explicitly sexual... nor is showing the arms, the stomach, or the back.

However, as shown by the media and such, boobs and butts are OBVIOUSLY sexual. So even showing off a hint of them is not very appropriate.

But me, personally, I don't like the former, but I like the latter. It's sort of like cleavage. A little line of only a few inches is nice... but boobs spilling out is just a bit much. Especially if she's not wearing a bra, and if she bends over only a bit you see everything. The second hand embarrassment is real then... lol.

Ya for sure. From what I've experienced in my life, I feel like shorter shorts are more likely to appear at beaches, which is fine. I don't really see that too much outside of that, but then again I'm in Toronto Canada for some of summer so there's not many beaches. Most women tend to wear nice floral dresses or leggings in the city for the summer, and them legs be fine.

Majority of them end at or around the knee. A lot of younger women (i. e 20s-30s) wear dresses that end about halfway down the thigh, so you really get that nice visually appealing leg angle as their legs leave the dress, then pair that with heels. Keep in mind that's the classy type, though tbh I don't see many slutty dressers downtown
