So few days ago, I decided to buy this sexy baby doll lingerie for me and boyfriends anniversary day.
On that night, I came over to his place.
I quickly changed into it.
He came into the room and looked at me up and down and said "wow.. damn. I thought we were just gonna watch movies"
And I said "oh.. you want to watch a movie?"
And he laughed and said "I can try..."
So obviously we didn't watch the movie and we ended up making love 😂
But anyway, after we did it, he goes "Mmm i like this outfit. You look good. Best anniversary present ever. So cute and adorable"
What the f? Cute and adorable? I expected him to say "wow damn you look hot/sexy babe"
He always calls me beautiful, cute, pretty... but never hot or sexy. Even in that lingerie outfit!!!
Does he not find me attractive in that lingerie? or in general? Ughhh im so annoyed 😔

I recently got into an argument with my mom because I was at the Starbucks at my Target alone when this thirty-something year old man randomly sat next to me, even though there were other empty seats everywhere, and started complimenting me. Now I know this might just be him trying to be nice, but keep in mind that I am a 4'11, 16 year old girl. I politely say thank you but proceeded onto texting my mom, who is shopping in the same Target, to please hurry because I was a bit scared.
Later on, as my mom and I discussed about the incident, the conversation led to an argument about whether or not girls should be showing less skin (even though I was just wearing gym shorts and a t-shirt) to avoid guys' "instinctual" reactions. In her opinion, girls should be taught to wear more modest clothing as opposed to what I thought, which was to teach guys to control their behavior instead.
Her argument is that by wearing revealing clothes, it is almost like girls are "asking for it". Even in hot weather, she says girls shouldn't be so revealing because less fabric doesn't affect your body temperature that much.
As for my argument, I said that instead of pushing the idea of covering up more down girls' throats, we should teach guys to control their behaviors instead. Along with that, I also argued that girls don't even have to be wearing revealing clothing to be catcalled. I gave my outfit, a high school t-shirt with gym shorts and flip flops, as an example of this.

I do believe the "birds of a feather flock together" principle and is true. I honestly don't care how my friends look but I find that certain personality/lifestyle types dress a certain way and I base friendships off personality and lifestyle. I want more friends because my social life is lacking. I lost contact with a lot that changed in college; we no longer click nor do they want to be bothered.

In class, I hardly see girls who dress like me around. I a few on campus and I'll compliment their outfit but I'm not sure how to initiate friendships with a stranger. It's like all glammed up or plain jane and I feel stuck in the middle.

I try to befriend girls who dress similar to me or way more casual since I feel comfortable around them and usually have similar personalities. Unfortunately they are often mean to me.

Girls that dress nice try to befriend me. I'm talking stylish where guys are all over them and try to talk to them! Guys still act like I'm invisible unless I talk to them first.
I don't dress up as much as them so I don't get why they want to be my friend. I'm always skeptical because I feel like they're being fake. I tend to judge and assume them as "mean girls" and think that they want me to be their *D. U. F. F. Sometimes I find out later these girls are kind and have personalities similar to me so I feel bad to have wrongly judged but I can't help it.
