I am at a point in my life where I am dating someone so that I could marry them down the track. I am dating purposefully.

I met a man at church who seemed interested in me. So I approached him and asked him for his number. We went out for lunch and I asked him about his dating history.

He said that he was dating someone for five years but had to let her go because " he didn't feel it anymore".

I told him after that I did not think this will go ahead any further and we kept as friends. But I just need feedback, do you think that I judged him too harshly?

I just don't want to be that woman where a man dates me, wastes my time and then after 5 years he says "sorry babe, not feeling it anymore".

I don't know about you but commitment is a choice you have to make. You are not going to love the person for a period of time but you need to push through. Because after all, they are a companion.

This is kinda long so bare with me lol so basically there’s this guy doing the same course as me in my university, I found him attractive & he decided to start talking to me, everything is all good we hit it off straight away & we start talking about our past relationships etc. He told me he has commitment issues & I was fine with that because I’m not necessarily looking for a relationship myself so we talked about the idea of being friends with benefits. I told him I’d have to get to know him more & just take it day by day which he was okay with. But he started to act very different despite us not having done anything physical yet, he acts very rude & entitled. He doesn’t reply to my texts for hours but then gets mad when I don’t reply. The other day he called me asking what I was up to & I asked him why because I was curious & he just hung up the phone because I wasn’t supposed to answer with why. He kissed my face out of nowhere & he texted me saying that I shouldn’t get my hopes up about it. All of this behaviour was just turning me off of even considering having sex with this guy because I feel like the way he’s acting is strange because I haven’t caught feelings for him but he’s acting as if I have. So I decided to call him the other day when I was tipsy since he complains that I never call him & he got mad that I rang him while I was a bit tipsy & said that I was such a stereotype etc & that I don’t take him seriously (which I don’t get because he told me not to plus it’s hard to take him serious with how he likes to act like a massive douche). So I just blocked him because I just lost interest.

So I was just wondering like is this a normal method of trying to get a girl to have sex with you or? Because I’ve never come across someone that went about it so weirdly.
