Search Results: should i give him a second chance

Just last week:
He pulled my brother out of the way of an upcoming van, nearly getting run over himself. It was a drunk driver, who got arrested afterwards. Part of me still hates him for everything he put my brother through but then again, if it weren't for him my brother would have been either seriously injured or died.
My brother already forgave him though but we didn't welcome him in the house. My brother had to step out. So should we give him a second chance?

That kid (both him and my brother are now 17 year-olds) was the reason my brother would come home all stressed out and moody, wouldn't be on his fb anymore, start crying all of the sudden and at some point was covered with small bruises. He was his main tormentor who would call out his friends to join in. This went on for 4 years; it started verbally at first and then lastly turned physical.

We found about the bullying issue after my brother's friend (Alex) informed us about it. My brother began practicing self-defense with Alex, who knows both Krav Maga and BJJ. As expected the brother beat the hell out of him not so long ago in the beginning of Dec. Though it cost him a suspension for a whole week. Problem solved ever since.

I‘ve met this guy at university and he‘s really quiet. I follow him on instagram and also follow his friends that he hangs out with at uni, and what i‘ve noticed is that he rarely meets up with them in his free time and doesn‘t talk that much. Recently we started having a lot of eye contact, not just brief glances but like really looking at eachother for a few seconds. I never really noticed him paying attention to others like this, so i sent him a request on insta to follow him. The eye contact kept happening but it went on for like 2-3 months, so now it‘s just that our eyes meet here and there but that‘s about it. We also listen to the same music and i post a lot on my insta story and he always watches them but he never really tried to make the first step, not even talking wise. Should i give my hopes up? It‘s been a few months already i can‘t tell if he‘s interested or not. And i don‘t know why he won‘t text me if i gave him a lot of chances to do so. Maybe i sent some mixed signals? Or maybe he‘s just not interested? But what did the eye contact mean then? Would love to hear your opinion lol
