boyfriend and I have been together going on 8 years and see each other only on weekends. He had asked me to ride with him to Lowe’s and I agreed. After we left, I asked if we could go to an antique shop about 20 minutes away we had never been to. (We live in a small town with not much to do). I thought it would be fun since last weekend, we did something similar and he said he had a good time. He told me I needed to help with gas. His argument was that it was 20 minutes away and he wasn’t interested in going. I was confused, since it takes at least 20 minutes to get anywhere from our town, he said he had fun the last time we shopped for antiques, and he never asks me for gas. He has also expressed to me multiple times he’s fine with going somewhere with me at least once a week.

He is not financially strapped by any means. He has over $60,000 in his bank account and I have nowhere near that much. I also have asked him for help with food (he has a tendency to eat up what I buy & won’t ever replace it or offer to) and weed (we always smoke with one another on weekends and he’s gotten into the habit of chipping none in when we used to always go halves, and just expecting me to smoke him out and then getting mad and exploding on me when I don’t).

I brought these things up to him and pointed out I felt it was unfair to ask for gas when he told me himself it was fine and since I contribute so much in other areas. He ended up exploding on me, talking down to me and calling me entitled and I ended up crying. I feel like it would be different if there wasn’t such a deficit in contribution on his end. Am I wrong? What are your thoughts? I also have aspergers if that helps.

Tl;dr: boyfriend of 8 years asked for gas money, I felt like it’s unfair since he said it was cool and he won’t help me with food/weed, even though I’ve asked him to multiple times and he has way more money than I do

Me and my boyfriend were watching the circle, I commented on how I liked the girl's glasses to which he replied she looks like you but she's prettier. I was confused and shocked as I didn't comment on the girl's physical appearance, so I replied with "why would you say that?" He then said "what's wrong? it's just an observation" to which I replied : "I didn't ask for a comparison though I was complementing her glasses" he then was confused as to why I was bothered by the comment, and processed to tell me that if I told him someone was more handsome than he is, he wouldn't be upset and was like I don't know why you girls are so dramatic. To which I said any girl would be upset if her boyfriend out of the blue compared her to a girl and said they look similar but that she's not as pretty. Then he tried to cheer me up as he saw I was sad. I know there is a lot of people prettier than me, all of us have someone prettier than us, but I feel like he didn't have the need to say it out loud he could have kept it to himself, especially since he knows I'm insecure with my looks around him, we were friends before dating and he rated me a 6/10, once after having sex he said my boobs are a bit saggy and that I can workout to perk them up ( also without me asking and I never thought my boobs were saggy). Also I'm not his usual type as I know what kind of girls he likes. I've talked with him about all of this and he always reassures me that he finds me beautiful and cute which is hard to believe after hearing all his little comments about my looks and yesterday was the cherry.
Was I overreacting by being upset at his 'observation' ? Or were my feelings validated?
