I have been wondering whether or not I should confess to a guy I haven't seen in 4 years.
Back story: we were classmates 5 years ago and he exhibited all the signs of interest except he was taken, so I didn't know if he was genuine or messing with my mind. Nothing happened
Then we both moved to different towns and we kept in touch. he would give me news sometimes and so would I.
Then he had a kid so I just let it go and was happy for him.
But some month s ago he contacts me and tells me how his relationship broke off. All my feelings came back. I tried to tell him I would have loved to see him and that 's when he replied by mentioning how we didn't live that far. I thought "ok that must mean that he wants to see me?"
But after this I got no news. I had to message him again and he said he was busy with his gf (new one)...
And since then I've been the one trying to get news from him (not so much but well I tried to keep it friendly, besides I told him I had a bf too)

Now a few months have passed and I can't help but think he owes to know the truth. That I still think about him an would have liked to see him. I just don't know if that is a good idea because I haven't seen him since the school year ended 4 years ago.. Would I look like some crazy girl?

Anyway that's what I plan on sending through text for now:
"I thought I should let you know that I have been thinking about you. And it slightly bothers me because I wouldn't want to come off disrespectful of your relationship but still I would have liked to see you again. Now this may be useless as you probably don't care. But I'm telling you this so that I stop thinking about it. I just hope you won't find it inappropriate."

What do you think? I really need other people's advice on this please

Is she liked a ring hoping to win it is that a sign they are ring shopping?
Is he staying with her because its "familiarity" or is he about to pop the question?
Will they break up soon or will he stay with her forever?
I know a couple that live together but the guy has a wandering eye. They recently had a massive argument with him telling her to stop eating (as she is fat). He also left her before and went back... possibly 'cos he didn't want to start over and the r/ship offers familiarity.
But there she is saying, "happy 6th anniversary babe, love u." On Facebook.

Are they really that happy? she has also been 'liking' memes that say , "I'd rather be alone than with someone who makes me feel alone." and "i dont want to get attached to anyone anymore" and "dont criticise me for my flaws when u dont recognise ur own"... which to me sounds like she is thinking of leaving him... BUT then today she 'liked' and 'shared' a photo to win a sparkly diamond ring... Does that mean they have talked engagement and she is picking out rings?

They're not married yet... Will he propose soon?
