He wants to confront my mother for directly insulting him in the past, meddling too much in our relationship, treating him poorly, bad-mouthing/gossiping about him to others, being a fake friend for years, issuing an insincere apology once and now (in the present time) being fake nice.

He hates lying, fake people and hypocrisy. He hates that trait in a person. In addition, he thinks a fake apology is more insulting than getting none... and if it's not a real reconciliation then it creates another longer war and the same offense happens again. As of now he doesn't like her at all and wants to confront her soon. He's running out of patience and wants to let it all out anytime. If you were my boyfriend that got treated like garbage, would you want to confront her too?

There came a point where I really didn't feel like doing elaborated, master plates or was already running out of ideas or fed up with it. Some days, I feel as if I wasn't even doing it for myself (nor was happy either) but to please him.

This now ex boyfriend wasn't satisfied with a regular meal and even once refused to eat it. Oh no, it had to be served in a specific plate, well decorated and presented as an art work.

I'm not a master but I do like making my foods without getting pushed or pressured. Elaborated dishes take more time, more ingredients I just don't feel like doing that too much. Just because he used to be a chef assistant and knows more about foods than me thought that gave him the rights to pressure me to be like that too. I broke up. Was it right?
