Let's say you meet a guy who's tall, good looking, and recently landed a great paying job. But you find out that he used to hit his pregnant girlfriend who was already suffering from medical issues due to the pregnancy. She died while giving birth to the baby boy and when the baby was 3 months old he walked out on the kid completely and the baby was put in the foster care system. Would you forgive him and keep dating him?

I'll be giving birth in February. I have 2 doctor appointments in my baby's father town, he lives two hours away. I'll be moving soon and transferring doctors but the next appointment might be too long to wait and by then I'll have given birth. I feel like I have no choice but to travel 2 hours by bus and spend 4 days with my abusive and cheating baby's father for both appointments and then come back home. I don't want to ever see this man, he's fucking toxic. But then there's another part of me that knows I should go to these appointments because my pregnancy is high risk and they need to check on the baby and my blood pressure which has been very high and I might be at risk for a condition preclampsia which is dangerous for both the baby and I. I am so torn, 4 days is a long time being around a horrible person like him. And I can't afford to stay at a hotel for those days.

He was born in Jackson Memorial Hospital (FL) but raised in our country since he was 5.

At this moment (his 18th b-day is on May 5th) he barely speaks any English, doesn't know how to receive changes if he buys something, can't even boil water, barely dishes his own dishes, doesn't do his homework on his own and is clueless in many areas. My boyfriend is honest when giving feedbacks and according to him my brother is functioning like a 10 year-old kid. He's not being a productive member in our country.

If he ever goes back to the USA (his birth country), is he going to be useless as well too?

A lot of women don't want to have children, or a lot of them, because a) pregnancy and childbirth is painful and b) it can change the body in many unpredictable and undesirable ways even if you can manage to retain a healthy bodyweight and fitness, e. g. working out does not reverse stretch marks or sagging skin.

Let's suppose that the pain is not an issue nor is the changes that pregnancy can cause to out bodies. Let's assume that giving birth is not as painful and the body looks the way it always did after childbirth. If that was the case, would you like to have more children that what you originally want?

I certainly feel like it's a yes for me. I love kids, wanna have some myself, and for now I want at least 2-3 kids but if childbirth and body changing was less of an issue I'd probably wanna have more, like at least 5-6.

He's abused me emotionally, verbally and physically before and during my pregnancy. I'm leaving him in the morning for good. I'm giving birth without him and realized he doesn't give a fuck about me or our child. He will reach out because our daughter will be born next month. Should I block him or ignore his phone calls?
