I just hate these two because they're both nothing but full of jackasses who do nothing for the country (the US) but bicker on and on about which of their philosophies are more superior rather than working their differences out and doing what's best for American citizens. I especially hate the conservatives from Fox News and liberals from MSNBC. They're both very biased and unreliable with their reports, thus harming their credibillities.

If a conservative person ever had the nerve to try to impose his/her viewpoints on me, I'll just directly tell him/her that he/she can take his/her morals, gender roles, family values, white knighting culture, religious and traditional beliefs and shove it up his/her ass.

If a liberal person ever had the nerve to try to impose his/her viewpoints on me, I'll just directly tell him/her that he/she can take his/her Affirmative Action (race and gender) and so-called "equality" beliefs and shove it up his/her ass.

Western society is attempting the adroganise the sexes, this means what making what was/is considered masculine done more by women and what was/is considered considered feminine done more by men.

Western women are as a whole more masculine and less feminine than ever.

Western men are as a whole more feminine and less masculine than ever.

This is not about whether that's right or wrong, or whether you think gender roles are primarily social or biological, so save the rants for someone who cares.

SO WHICH DO YOU PREFER?

Preachy about anyting pretty much (like religious beliefs, traditional gender role beliefs, political beliefs, cultural beliefs, etc.). I hate them very much. I hate it when people try to force their beliefs down my throat and then can't accept that people have individually different beliefs and all have the freedoms to believe them.

Just curious. I see a lot of men on GAG forcing these viewpoints down on other men and not let them live their lives freely with their own independent beliefs. These same men tend to attack other men who don't subscribe to their traditional gender role values philosophy. I usually just tell them directly to fuck off if they can't handle other men not having the same viewpoint or possessing the "protective alpha male" instinct as them.

Now don't get me wrong, I don't have any ill-feelings toward people who still believe traditional gender values. They can believe whatever they want and live their family lives however they want. However, it does irritate the shit out of me when some of these traditional people (especially the men) try to preach their "protective alpha male" and "women are valuable treasures that should never be disrespected" bullshit on me and then get butthurt when I don't subscribe to their philosphies.

Would you look down upon men for not being traditional or putting women on pedestals?

If there was a holiday in which traditional gender roles were reversed, would you celebrate it?

Did you know there are different types of feminism? What kind of feminism, or lack thereof, do you fall under? Don't focus too much on the titles; please read through the descriptions. I couldn't include all the types, but I chose the ones that I feel cover the most territory. Implicit - Women already have enough equality under law, and they're pretty much equal already. Feminism is exaggerated and unnecessary.

Masculinist - Men deserve more respect and should have different jobs than women. Feminist ideas negatively impact traditional ways of life.

Anarchist - Our society is a patriarchy (run by men) and is inherently unequal and rooted in history ("herstory"), politics, media and culture. It can only be overcome with dramatic change. (Also chose this if you believe in female superiority. Sorry, ran out of poll options)

Socialist - Women should break out of the traditional feminine lifestyle to become empowered. Traditional jobs and roles for women are ones of low value and lacking power (housewife, secretary, factory worker).

Womanist - Gender equality can only be achieved by asserting equality for everyone. Feminism tends to ignore or overshadow issues of race, sexuality, etc. (Chose this if you advocate for feminism for a particular culture)

Cultural - Femininity should be embraced and respected. Most gender issues come from our over-valuing masculine traits. Men and women shouldn't have to act masculine to be empowered.

Liberal - Inequality issues related to women can be fixed with activism and increasing awareness. Our current society is fully capable of having gender equality if enough people are aware and support it.
