Justine Elwood, 19, was working behind the counter at the popular ice cream chain when a customer said something that left her stunned.

“Her kids were sampling a lot of the flavors we have and she kinda pulled them aside and was like, 'with all those samples you're having you're gonna end up as big as her,' and then she kinda pointed to me," Elwood claims.

The fat-shamer didn't stop there. She actually went on Yelp the next day and wrote an obnoxious review which said: “One of their female employees Jessie? Jennifer? J something, is disgustingly obese, and although she is very polite, instantly makes my appetite disappear. I don't like my children thinking they will look that way by eating too much ice cream.”

After the incident, she then said: "I'm human, it does hurt to hear that kind of stuff about yourself."

Again, I think people are stupid. Okay, she's fat. SO WHAT? Why do you need to go out of your way to tell someone something that they already KNOW? Besides, this girl was just doing her job, and this woman didn't need to comment on her body! I think people who go out of their way to allow someone to feel bad about themselves are horrible! And in my opinion this girl may be overweight but she is still beautiful. Just my opinion.

I DON'T dislike all of them. However, MOST HR personnel (in my opinion):

1. judge you based on your looks. It's like having a weird appearance is an automatic filter. (One HR STAFF even told me to put on make-up when I work in the Finance Department! Wth)

2. will offer you a salary lower than what you should get based on your experience and potential. Seriously? Do they get an incentive from that? Most don't hire an applicant no matter how potentially talented he could be just because his demand is higher than what they offer. Yeah, there's what we call negotiation, but it's too hard to negotiate with an HR because they have no REAL idea about the difficulty that your work/profession constitutes.

3. will side the Company whenever there's a dispute between it and a lower-rank employee. They also don't properly inform the employees on how to get a promotion.

4. incompetent. I think if HR personnel were competent and really knew what they are doing and looking for, and if they cared more on potential talents than *saving* monies by offering lower compensation, the working world would be a better place.

Lucky is a company that has an excellent HRD for they are hard to find. Most I've met were rubbish. What's your opinion on the HRD?

My boyfriend of 2 months asked me to move in with him after 3 months when I will not have a job and student residence permit in his country. He asked me to be his assistant and he will pay me more than an employee. He also lured me by offering that he will take care of my visa and leisure travels. I was really angry because I am an independent woman and even though I am just a student right now, I am proud enough to move in with him and basically be under his money. He went to the point of asking me "Why do women need to work?" He does not let me pay for the food whenever I am at his place or we are on date and I dont argue with him on this matter because he says he wants to bring the food to the plate of his woman. He is very caring guy but then I feel he oversees my goals and says that I am stupid for not accepting his offers and still carrying on with my ambitions. I was angry on him and cried a lot because of this conversation. He said sorry the next day though he brings the topic of me being a girl and working. Just for the information, he is European and I am Indian and about 6 years older.
