I`m in LDR with a guy (exclusive). We haven't seen each other for a month now and was excited about weekend plans we had. But he said now he is feeling sick. Asked him if he wants to cancel plans or I should come over to his place (instead of him to mine). He said he is hoping to feel better and will let me know tomorrow.

I have major trust issues and I am afraid he is lying (because I had a lot of bad experience with men). I dont have the courage to ask him if he is honest. In case he wants to get out of our plans and end things with me, I would prefer if he would tell that to me. I prefer clean cut endings than lies and ghosting. I know there is 50-50 chance he is lying or being honest.

Up till now everything was fine. Feelings of affection seemed mutual (he even expressed them verbally) and he even said to me once he is not playing games with girls (or me), never did because he think that is not the right way to treat a human being. He was always very sweet & nice with me, very respectful and caring. But I know things can change over night...

Just wondering if men are more prone to getting out of plans with lies or they prefer ending (instead of lying)?
Guys, tell me what do you usually do? Get out of "a relationship" with avoidance and lies or I am over-paranoid?

I hooked up with a guy in summer but I was returning to my country the ending of that same summer. We developed feelings for each other hence the hook up. During the month that I was home, we remained talking normal but then it started to get a little strained. We both don't want a relationship as yet. I returned to his country and since I came back he has been moving extremely distant. Convos are HORRIBLE! He makes little effort to spend time with me unless he initiates it. We see each other at school but in our group of friends he acts like we never had anything going on. He doesn't want them knowing about us but still it's so awkward. The twist tho is that he is EXTREMELY JEALOUS of my male friends. Squirms at the sound of their names. When he does come over he is really chill and sort of normal like how he was in summer when I met him.
