Search Results: want to be skinny

I have always been slim and borderline underweight. Lately I have noticed my body slipping towards the lower of my usual weight range so I’m looking to reassess my fitness and eating to see if I can just put on a bit more weight. 2021 was a lazy unhealthy year for me. I didn’t really fuel my body properly and I didn’t exercise much which I love to do. I don’t want to have massive muscles or anything, I think I just want to have a bit more strength (and in doing so a bit more weight on my bones). In general I’m healthy and I have regular periods so I’m not concerned about anything, just working on being the healthiest I can be while still staying true to my natural figure. Also it would be nice if I had more arm strength to open those tricky jars haha. Are there any fitness specialists out there who can advise me on how to go about putting weight on combined with fitness? I love to swim laps twice a week at least (I used to do competitive swimming during my school and university , and it’s the only sport that I do tbh, normally I smash out around 40-50 laps) and my goal this year is to swim more as I let it go significantly in 2021. But if I’m exercising more, I want to make sure I fuel my body properly so I don’t lost more weight. So that’s my deal. Again any advice would be great. If you have been through a similar thing I’d love to know how you put on weight. I should note that I’ve never had an eating disorder and my relationship with food is good (just in case anyone questions why I’m the weight I am). Apparently there is a skinny gene in my family…
