I am a foreign exchange student living in Japan but I am leaving in two weeks. I've been dating this guy and he's very sweet. I'm really sad to leave him. He lives in Japan and I'll be returning to Japan in exactly a year, do you think it's possible to make it work?

As of now- I'm thinking of keeping in contact with him but not necessary being 'together' and if we feel like it- we will meet again in a year.
