My ex and I met about 4-5 years ago when he sat in front of me during our high school graduation by staring at me but we never spoke. Then the following summer, we had gotten the same job. We started interacting with each other all summer, and surprisingly went to the same college. A forever romance right? WRONG. I had ended things because I was being treated like trash like embarrassing us in front of my friends, and he confessed that he cheated on me as well. He apologized for his actions, asked for a second chance, and I gave it to him out of hope.

Then, we finally started having sex which I was hesitant about but I wasn’t sure how else to keep the relationship going. That lasted for about 5-6 months before he ended it saying “I only gave you the time of day so I could say I had sex with this specific ethnicity” and left. He ended up showing at my workplace a couple of years ago, and smiled at me. I didn’t smile back, and it bothered me so I messaged him on another social media account telling him off and he apologized for everything that had happened. I blocked him on that outlet and thought that was it since we’re both in different relationships now. I created this new social media outlet for graduate school and he sent me a friend request on there so I’m not sure if I should accept it or not. What do you think?

So I’m posting this under relationships because it applies to friendship and romance. I am 25 and recent college grad. I still live at home but plan to move out next year.

When I say I have no friends, I mean NONE. I tried making them in HS and college (lived at home) but it didn’t work out. I try dating apps to meet people and it isn’t successful.

I do not think I’m unattractive but I don’t get hit on like other women I know. I have rarely been asked out and it was by guys I did not find attractive. Everyone says love will find you and you will make friends but I have no expectations at this point/know that I won’t happen.

Im very quiet and only speak when spoken to. I’ve been bullied back in HS and Middle school, even at a previous workplace. I don’t know what I do to warrant their behavior but I have given up on people. I stay to myself and don’t like being alone, yet cannot deal with peoples BS at this point.

My mother’s side of the family has caused a lot of unnecessary drama in my life and I don’t talk to them. I avoid my grandmother and my father at all costs

Anyone relate or am I unlucky as I suppose?
