I'm just going to lost things he does:
1) I find him staring at me during th 2 classes we have
2) we hang out a lot and during classes we sometimes partner up
3) Well people think we should be together
4) I do flirt and he notices and usually responds the way I want but not exactly
5) He cares about how i feel and tells me about everything
6) When we go to these activities "church wise" although I'm not religious he will stand by me, make jokes, and sit by me
7) he has made a move when there is not a lot of people around like saying behind my back (mostly to tease me) that he wants me
Also just saying (forgot if I havent) i do flirt and I am those kinda girls who accidentaly send mixed signals like I will compliment him or give him something than like tease him (if I even make sense)

This guy Jake and I have worked together for 4 months. We are both awkward and VERY shy. He has NO experience with girls and has never had a girlfriend. He gives me mixed signals and flirts or doesn’t flirt. After a month of dealing with his BS I asked him (note he ran away and avoided talking to me direct 3 times prior to this) he very hesitantly rejected me and then instantly felt bad. I was upset and for whatever reason he was upset too. He briefly talked about it with my friend on Saturday and he said he felt really bad and he doesn’t even know himself if he actually meant what he said. Today we worked together and I avoided him like the plague (because I was still hurt) but he tried to get me to talk and was trying not to be awkward about it (which people were impressed he did it because he’s always awkward). I wouldn’t talk to him and would give him dirty looks and walk fast past him. He also saw me looking like I was about to cry and he looked like he felt really bad. There’s also a new guy at work and he was flirting with me but then stopped when Jake came into the picture and Jake looked very jealous about the new guy but the guy completely backed off with flirting with me. He also kept coming down and looking for me as he walked (I worked in a different area tonight). Jake was flirting with me because he was getting very close to me and making jokes and going oh yeah I think you need help with that in like a low tone with a grin while we were standing next to each other and Jake sat right next to me when that new guy was sitting across the table from us and Jake was taking my stuff and just being really flirty. I don’t get it And at one point tonight we were both so close and looking at each other like we were gonna kiss but then I stopped it and was like Jake aren’t you supposed to be in (his area) and he’s like maybe with a grin and I walked away and was like bye Jake. And. He’s like cya on Saturday on the way out and I’m like yep bye Jake lol
