I’m 24 and never really dated anyone. I have had sex before and it was terrible. The most experience I had was with online dating and it doesn’t work for me. I’ve been out with men a few times but it typically doesn’t go anywhere. The most one has enveloped was into 3 dates and we both came to conclusion after there was nothing more to pursue. I didn’t date in HS, guys didn’t notice me, most likely because I was heavier. I’ve lost weight since and I’m still invisible to guys. I don’t honestly know why I can’t find a guy worth pursuing, maybe there really is something wrong with me. I don’t have any friends either, so meeting people in that manner is out of the question. Why are some people just destined to be single or not worth pursuing if they still try their best to be presentable? I hear stories of people bumping into their SO out in public or girls getting approached in public and having dates but I’ve always been alone.

I don’t think it is. Unless you’re just incredibly beautiful, rich and well-liked. I’ve heard mixed reviews throughout my life. I’ve encountered people that think it is a choice and others that say it’s mostly all about timing/luck (right place at the right time). I am always single and I have no friends. I am very alone in life. When I used to have those random people that I used to encounter ask me if I was single and I’d respond with yes, they would ask why I was and then come to the conclusion that it was by choice. That I was picky. So that was kind of judgmental lol. I don’t have a way of meeting people and I’ve tried online dating but it doesn’t work out for me. You typically hear negative things about that anyway haha. What do you all think?

I met this guy a few months ago. Everything was going so well and we talked online for a whole month before meeting and he seemed so keen. We had two dates in person that went really well and on the second date we kissed for a long time. He told me afterwards that he was scared of commitment and didn't want a relationship. After our dates he wanted to meet as friends to see a movie but I decided it would be best to have some time apart. He thanked me for being so understanding and I went no contact for a month. Then one night I noticed he'd changed his status to in a relationship with someone. I was so angry because I thought he had commitment issues and now he's in a relationship? I finally contacted him to say I was happy for him and he blocked me!!! So I texted him a few times as I was panicking... He said if I contacted him again he'd call the police! So I went no contact again and it's been two months now. I thought about him on Christmas day and new years eve. Still no messages from him. He's still in a relationship with someone else and it hurts so much. I've tried to move on and I've been on dating sites talking to other people but no one compares to him. He was perfect to me and I don't feel like I could ever be happy with someone else. What do I do? Can I do anything to get him back?
