Search Results: most annoying thing a girl can do

This guy I work with (we met about three weeks ago, let's call him jake) comes across as being loud, confident and will flirt with girls. He acts "normal" around me most times but some moments he would act shy or just weird. Like he would stare at me and get kind of quiet. Sometimes he will pretend I'm not there. This one time I has asked a coworker if he could help me with something. When I asked him to help me, Jake was kind of behind us watching. And my coworker that I asked for help had something of Jakes so he asked him what to do with it and Jake just said to drop it. As Jake said that, he turned around and walked away. He seemed really flustered and annoyed. Another time in mid conversation Jake smiled and looked down, acting all shy. So why do y'all think Jake would act like this. 80 percent of the time he treats me like anyone else and 20 preceding t of the time he treats me weird. Why would a confident guy act like this? What does it mean? Help! Thanks guys

Also, one important thing. There is this other girl we work with and Jake flirts/talks to/hangs around her all the time. Other people have noticed it too. He is not at all shy with her so maybe he just sees her as a friend? He is very confident with her. So I can't tell if he is into her or if he likes me or maybe he just hates me, I don't know. He also seems to give me secretive side glances like he wants to know where I am at all times. I'm stuck! Haha thanks!

I'm going to try to explain as much as I can. He's really kind/sweet to me. Although he does tease me quite a bit. He's always randomly calling my name either trying to get me to talk 'to him', just to say something silly to me or even just to say "I don't know." it's really random but I don't mind it. He's always defending me when someone is rude to me, friends or just random people. He has said he's always trying to make me laugh and he doesn't like to leave me by myself and when he does he'll text me telling me he feels bad. When it's just us it's pretty silent that is until we do something stupid together it's all laughs and giggles. When we are around his friends he's a lot more talkative. He tends to make the odd 'sex joke' like if I say "fuck me" he will most likely reply "if you want me too". He's made silly jokes like "will you marry me?" " will you be my... Buddy." he has once said "I'm not normally like this around girls" literally right after he burped 😂. I'm still confused by what he meant by that. He's stated that he cares about me and his friends actually tease him sometimes. Saying things like "ask your girlfriend." or "you guys sound good together", once saying "did you know (me) is (him) girlfriend?" which he just sounded annoyed and defensive saying "no she's not. She's not." that fact that his friends are teasing him about me should that mean anything? (I'm completely clueless) I don't know what else to tell you guys but I hope this is enough.
