So my boyfriend got back in contact with a girl he used to date through Snapchat and this girl came to me last week telling me that my boyfriend had sent her a d**k pic and tried to start a sexual conversation with her which she showed me. I confronted my boyfriend and he said it’s not a big deal that it’s not cheating. He said he is still really attracted to his ex and when he talks to her he just gets carried away. His ex is lovely and we had a good chat, she warned me that he is a extremely sexual person and he can’t be just with one girl hence why she ended it with him. Would you be able to forgive that?

The biggest deal breaker in a relationship for me is cheating and i have always advised a break up if your SO cheats. Cheating is the same reason why i am scared to be in a relationship too. It seems that many people here and irl supports cheating too. I had a guy tell me he will pour sulphuric acid on to my face because i asked a girl to break up with her cheating boyfriend. I know a female user here who everyone compliments on how she's such a submissive good girlfriend while she's flirting and sexting her guy friend. Whenever i express my hatred towards cheating, people ask "Did you get cheated on or something?". Obviously i did not. But i feel like what they're saying is i don't have the right to be upset about cheating.
Anyway i got a player guy who have always wanted to "date" me since i am not easy and i am 99.9% sure he will cheat. So if i date him and when he cheats, i may finally be able to get rid of my fear. Once i become immune, i believe that i won't be always thinking if my future SO (someone i love) is cheating and even if he is, I would be used to it.
You would feel like i am being a hypocrite rn so i will stop expressing my anger towards cheating and such questions from this moment onwards. And yes i am alright being a miserable girl who would probably be pitied on (Ik i need help🤷‍♀️).

Talking to someone you just want to have sex with is one thing, but talking to a potential romantic partner is another. What's the average time you spend talking to a potential SO before you bring up sex, even just jokingly?
Backstory: I have been talking to a really respectful guy as of late and he had asked my permission to make a joke after talking about our bad relations with our fathers, saying "I don't know if we're there yet". Of course I want him to be comfortable, so I give him the go ahead, and he replies with "You might have some issues with your dad, but I can be your daddy". Bad joke, but it made me laugh and then a conversation about sex happened, but not sexting. We've been talking for over 2wks, which is the longest I've talked to any guy without them bringing up sex or sending me unsolicited dick pics...
