Hey people,

I have a very high self esteem of myself. I know that I look good, in shape, im intelligent, kind, romantic, etc.

I know that a women would be lucky to be with me...

Thing is, I lack confidence when I speak to women for some reason. I am more of a loner too, I like being on my own and focus on my own stuff. I am not sure if what i have is a lack of confidence or just that i dont speak for no reason.

I sometimes see people talk for no reason, so i prefer to keep my mouth shut instead of saying stupid stuff that makes no sense. But these people that say nonsense seem to "look" more confident!

To me, self esteem is mainly focused around yourself. People don't see it, you are the one being happy with yourself. Confidence is what people feel when they see you. It is totally probable to be confident but have poor self esteem! Whats more important in a relationship?

Anyways, just tell me if i could score a beautiful and loving girl which is relationship material with my self esteem over my "confidence".

Why is it such an issue for girls to date a guy lacking in drive or direction in his life?

I'm pretty much a failure in those respects and girls just don't even consider me. I have great qualities elsewhere and I know I'm a great person, but these seem to be so high on the list most, if not all girls stay clear. You browse dating profiles of girls and almost every one states they are looking for a guy who knows what he wants or who is confident.

I have so much to offer someone but I don't understand why these things are so important compared to other qualities like looks, loyalty, kindness, humour etc

Why is this a concern for women? I would gladly find a girl in my position if she had the same qualities I do. But it seems this is stopping me.

Ok, so im flirting a bit with this girl on Facebook, she seems to really like my personality, and like me overall. The problem? she never saw my face ( I dont have picture). Lets say im not the cutest ( I would say slightly below average), and as you can see, I have low self esteem. I tried once to flirt with a girl on FB, i tried the low self esteem way, and it worked better than expected ( I just said, remember, before watching, the inside is whats important :) So, im gonna give you 3 choice, choose wich one you think is the best. Im talking to a shy girl, never had a BF, keep that in mind. Do I use

#1 confident: be careful, this picture might contain to much beauty for you :) (something like that)

#2 low esteem : Hey, I know im way out of your league, but since you wanted a pic of me, here it is :P

#3 my current idea ( a mix of both) : dont know if I want to put a picture of me on FB, I want to have a shot with you :P I guess I can if you want :P I will just have to convince myself that you couldnt handle that amount of beauty if you block me right after xD

Thoughts? wich one is better? other ideas?
