To start, I had a temporary boss at work who kind of made my life 10X more stressful. He nit-picked everything I did and every time something wasn't done properly during my shift (my shift involves three other people as well), I always was the first to blame. Something wasn't cleaned properly? I got the blame. He used to stand behind me and watch me work, which is something he didn't do to the others. Whenever something wasn't cleaned properly, he told another employee I was bad at cleaning loud enough for me to hear, even though it wasn't on my task list and smiled when I reacted in frustration. He also used to listen in on my conversations with other employees to the point he asked how my finals were even though I never told him about finals week. He was always on my case about everything I did and even gave me quizzes when I'd walk in like, "What are you supposed to do when you first walk into work?" He never did this to anyone else. He also used to complain every day about how I never brought him coffee and that I was rude and selfish for it.

I always thought he just hated me. But I told a few male employees about how frustrated I was with the guy and they 100% believe my boss had a major crush on me. They said it sounds like he knew he was in a position where he couldn't pursue his feelings, so he just bullied me to make me either easier to get over or it was just his way of flirting. He was so serious about his job and a super professional guy who wouldn't even hang out with anyone after work or talk about his personal life. He got promoted and no longer works at the store I do, and I haven't heard from him since. But technically he's still a boss over me, which leads me to believe that's why he might not be reaching out. He's a professional guy and knows it's a no-no. But do you think he had feelings towards me? Because I'm honestly conflicted.

He's not into sexting or flirting that much, But he puts x's on the end of messages and he's told his friends he's really interested in me.
