In my personal opinion, I have average looks and intelligence. However, people have told me differently and I feel they’re lying about these positive opinions. From when I was in middle school to very recent, at the age of 23, girls/women have been nasty to me. And when I attempt to evaluate how I may have attributed to this treatment, I don’t believe I really did anything. It was usually for petty stuff. Even family members have said a lot of negative things about me behind my back or to my face.

Men on the other hand don’t really bother me. I presume I’m not attractive to them because I wasn’t really teased by them growing up or am not approached in public. The only attention I generally get from guys is on dating apps and we know how shady those sites can be.

I dont know if people just dislike my personality/appearance or maybe there is another underlying reason behind their behavior

My friend has never been in a relationship
But we were having a conversation about few girls that we know and how they are engaged now:

Me - you know Fiona is engaged now?
Her - nah dont think their marriage will last..
Me - how do u know that?
Her - she was too much in high school

And then our friend

Me - can't believe Dee is getting married this year
Her - oh yeah with that white guy?
Me - yep I've met him twice and he seems nice.. and all her sisters think he's nice too.. they been together 4 years
Her - nah dont think they will last.. u know how Dee is.. she's too wild
Me - wow how would u know that tho?
Her - I have feeling she might do something

She thinks that most marriages will fail
Why was she so negative?
Is she right about marriages?
