I'm a senior in high school, I'm looking for a prom date which is on May 26th. I have met some girls I may be interested in going with but there are issues I will have to face. The first one is on don't have a driver's liscense, nor do I have a car for two reasons, my parents won't let me get my liscense until I'm 18 on August 17th, and no one will hire me so I have a money issue. I looked at rental limos online and the lowest price I saw was $78 per hour which doesn't include the cost for the driver. I think that's insane and the prom is from 7:00 to 12:00 plus an after party. I don't have that kind of money and even if I did I still wouldn't do that. I'm wondering if my brother could drive me. The next problem is I don't own a tuxedo, I own a suit though. My brother had to pay $150 for the night for his tuxedo which concerns me. Will these problems be deal breakers or will they understand? Should I rent the tuxedo or wear my suit?

I've taken some time off dating and focused more on work and taking care of myself. I'm man enough to admit I spoke to the wrong girls. Anyways, I've met a good amount of girls I'd be interested in going to the prom with, I won't change myself for any of them but what does your ideal prom date need to have?

I'm 21 and I've never even kissed a girl, now first off I admit I have high standards on a girls body and mind as well as her heart and that is part of it, however I grew up in a small town with very few options, I got close a couple times but things came up or they turned away etc I'm very social most everyone likes me and I'm one of the outspoken kind. I even went with the high school beauty queen to prom, I say that not to brag but to show I'm not some basement dweller asking this, through unfortunate circumstances and events I have thus far been alone. I've had opportunities with girls who were plain I turned down and girls who were gorgeous but they didn't want something real which I turned down.

anyway I'm starting university next year and just figure when I do find a girl who is attractive enough and has a good heart that she may be turned off by my inexperience, again I can talk and entertain I love socializing but actual skills on flirting or being with someone I can't say yet, girls would this bug you?

I've never had a girlfriend and I took some time off dating because I focused too much on looks and the relationships wouldn't have worked out anyways due to that fact. But now I've changed greatly since and I'm looking for a prom date. I'm torn between 3 girls who I would want to go with, Courtney, Mila and Isa. I want to go with Courtney because she seems cool and much more mature than most people I have to put up with. I want to go with Mila because we have a lot in common and I feel a connection with her but I fear it might just be puppy love again. I'm thinking about Isa because she seems nice and we have a resource class together, which will give me time to talk to her after I finish whatever work I had to do. I'm deciding soon because it's only a matter of time before they all have dates. With Valentine's day coming up, the clock is ticking and I need some help deciding here. Which one of them should I focus on?

So, to simplify for the sake of brevity, I became friends with her shortly after I moved three years ago, and about a year after that I developed a crush on her. I tried to flirt with her, we went on a couple of dates, and when I asked her to be my girlfriend she politely said no. It was obviously awkward for a bit after that, but we pulled through it. She is still one of my best friends, and normally I'd go to her with this question.
At this point, we are in our senior year of high school, and my parents are telling me that I should take her to prom as a friend. I don't think about her as more than a friend anymore, but I still feel uncomfortable with this for many reasons. First and foremost, I don't want to make things awkward between us again. She is my best friend and I really don't want to lose her. Second, I'm afraid that I might catch feelings for her again. I don't think that would happen, and I really hope it wouldn't be a problem, but I really don't want to risk that. The third and last major thing in my mind is that I honestly wouldn't want to go even if I had a girlfriend. I dislike a good chunk of my classmates, and am part if the group that wouldn't go if it was mandatory, so I wouldn't have many other friends there, anyways. Also, I don't want to be around that many teenagers where there will be, if past years are any indication, all kinds of drugs and booze affecting judgement.
So, with all of that, what is your opinion? Thank you in advance for any comments or responses.
