The only time I would be ashamed of my husband is if he isn't loyal, if he is lazy, unmotivated, has no respect towards me or his family, makes me feel sub-par at best, spends his money on worthless crap and bears no fruits of the holy spirit. I wouldn't even look at him twice let alone make him my husband. I have high standards in that regard.

But if my man is a real man who isn't about the above, bears Godly fruit, fears the Lord, I am extremely happy with him, we have undeniable intimacy and a strong, unchanging love for each other then I will wear this ring with pride.

If a person dares to comment on my ring, I will know how to deal with them so they learn their lesson. Is a big, expensive ring going to make my Husband be with me through thick and through thin? Will he guarantee fierce and unbreakable loyalty to me? I don't know about you but if I get Kim Kardashians ring and if my husband makes me cry, not trust him, basically make me die early and get illnesses because of him, you know where that beautiful ring will be? If we are saving up for a house and dealing with financial hardship , I want us to work as a team to get out of it. Because ultimately this is what marriage is for -working as a team and bringing God in the centre. I want to have as little fights as possible.
