Search Results: saying something dumb to a girl

I notice that a lot of females that I've talked to whether online or in person, seem to "brush off" compliments about their appearance.

I don't mean overt sexual things like "i wanna f*** you"...

...I mean more subtle things like "you face is pretty" or something more of that nature.

I hear guys plenty of times, in public, say they things like "i look good" or "im a sexy muthaf*cka", or something along those lines, thus denoting that they look attractive.

However, girls don't seem to do this very often. EVEN WHEN she's complimented directly, the words kinda "bounce off", like she doesn't believe what he's saying or is uncomfortable, when EVERYONE around know she's looking good.

So, to the girls, do you feel a obligation, even when directly complimented, to "dumb down" your acknowledgement of your looks, or do you have no problem saying in public that you look good?

Guys can elaborate as well.
