Last week he told me he'd give me his cell phone & forgot within 2 minutes. This week he said he'd be back to help complete a task and I'm waiting & waiting & waiting then decided to go find him and he's doing something else - when said come along he's like what.

I've never thought him, or any of my colleagues actually, that bright but this is just wtf is wrong with you.

It was booze that isn't my cup of tea for drinking but thankfully can be used for cooking.

But it sort of struck me as amusing as out of all the staff I'm one of the more serious ones, some of the others it is incredible they've brains to breathe like one who told me they'd give me their cell phone when I was covering their position & forgot 2 minutes later to do that.

Today I had to cover for a colleague in a different department. Well we work together by proxy so I know what he does. The moron does work that he knows I'm efficient in before I arrive and leaves stuff that I am not confident about. Stuff that is new he also left but prior was too stupid to order necessary supplies for. He was also going on about giving me his cell phone which he didn't, the nitwit was supposed to have done last week but never did. I assume he was also supposed to give me a passcode to something else (ordering supplies) which again the idiot never did.

This is the caliber of people I work with... management side they at least have brains.

General staff it's something of a miracle some of them have the brain power to breathe for themselves.

So I told the boss' partner today was on my phone briefly to get ahold of the delivery driver who had my house keys. A brief text just to make sure they didn't get lost. And the numb-skull management has me sign some rubbish about no cell phones in response. I did and was afterwards thinking I wonder if she knew I had two other job offers on the wing if she'd be a spiteful bitch. What when the majority staff are useless and I am more valuable to the boss

This has been a hilarious point of contention between myself...and the only people left in my life who still leave voice messages, aka, my parents, AND get offended if you don't check them rather than call right back because according to them, they took the time to leave a voice message, therefore one should check them first and then call back if necessary. These are also the same people who give me an actual ancient paper check on my birthday despite having the literal knowledge of how to send money through electronic banking...which THEY asked me to explain to them, and I know they know how to use now, lol.

So settle it.....do you check your voice messages before calling someone back or do you just straight call them back?
