“What is a way to say "in my experience as a man" without getting into gender shit? Trying to say "person that has had to deal with being male," not trying to assert that I am cis, because that isn't really accurate. I don't want to inadvertently undermine trans people.

I mean my experience as it relates to occupying a male body. Think so far as gender goes, I'm closer to non-binary. Would not choose this body. Would not choose male. But, I'm here and I don't feel we're yet at a place technologically where I have a real choice.

For me, it's I don't know how to say it. I don't want to step on toes. Some things are a direct consequence of the body, not the mind. I would like a more eloquent way of expressing that. I don't want to conflate the two. I don't know how to avoid it.

I really wish more focus was being put on enabling meaningful, accessible morphological freedom. Probably shouldn't get into it, but when I was a kid, a hormone imbalance lead to the development of excess breast tissue. Surgery to remove it left prominent scars and nerve damage. Think that kind of fucks with me.🤔 I'm trying to think of any way to address the body without it being twisted into a gender issue and all I'm turning up is anxiety.
