I received a Twitter friend request however I never really used or post Twitter except to read about memes or events or stuff like that. So when I received the request I saw that it was from someone I didn’t know who had no picture.

The account had just been made and no following or followers. But the username was spelled just like my ex name minus one letter. So I messaged the person because I was suspicious and ask them who is this? They said oh I’m dedmond but my friends call me dezi ( his name is Dezmond like seriously) I just added you because I saw you in my feed and thought you were cute.

I’m pretty sure when you start a new account you don’t have feed. Plus since he has friends why didn’t he add them to create following instead of a stranger. I said oh that’s okay just saw you opened this account and I wasn’t sure I knew you.

I asked him where he was from he told me nyc ( my ex is in another state ) I told him where I was from and I asked his age he told me 19 ( my ex is older) I told him I was 22 and I was winter baby, I asked him what his birthday he told me November 6th (my ex bday in September) so at this point I start thinking okay maybe it’s not him.

Maybe just a 19 year old from nyc whose trying to make friends? so we’re having a conversation about likes and dislikes and all of sudden. He had blocked me and deactivated the account.

The reason I’m concerned because my ex and me have been broken up for 2 years, he’s in a relationship and I have moved on. The last time we talked was last year and he invited me to see him but then blocked me I decide it was best to get over things and MOVE ON so I did. He also friend requested me on Snapchat this summer then watch my stories and block em after.

I dated someone else for awhile it didn’t work out but I was okay, focused on school work mental health and family and friends so I’m happy right now. Could he have been looking for closure?

Those are the words my boyfriend described my mother as. It's for good reasons. Even though she's a normal, loving mother, she acted like that towards my boyfriend and others. He has negative memories of her and she's the major reason we once broke up long ago.

She claims that this pandemic, seeing more people dying, how a human's lifespan is short, her health deteriorating and her uncle's recent death is making her change and reconsider her ways. She's trying not to argue with others nor create drama. She wants me to inform my boyfriend that she has changed. She thinks that one day they can be friends.

Is this possible? Or is this another phony act? Can someone that was arrogant, fake (talk garbage behind your back to others) and toxic to you change for the better?
