Richard Gallagher seems to see a wise and doesn't jump to conclusions and you can't call this can a whack. He graduated from a medical college in New York. He is board certified too.

Many people don't have the spiritual maturity to understand how each works and struggle at telling the difference.

I think 85% of the time, a person has a mental illness but it can be dangerous to rule out it could be demon possession. If your priest rules out demon possession, it may be mental illness.

Which are better at spotting differences: exorcists or doctors?

Do you think casting out demons needs to make a comeback in mainstream society or does it deserve scrunity and mockery? Or both? Of neither?

So your a well respected doctor in an authoritarian country, you have saved and helped many people in your life. One day a poison victim comes into the hospital, you do an assessment and think you know what to do to save them. Then the hospital manager calls you aside and gives you the phone, it's the president and they want you to 'make' it look like they were not poisoned, and to 'knock' them off in a way that is not suspicious. The president then states he knows where your family are and are watching them, also saying he will freeze your bank accounts etc if his demands are not met.

There is media outside and this is a big story. You will have to front the media and say it was not poisoning, and state they have died after doing the deed.
