So me and my ex boyfriend broke up 2 weeks ago because he felt that he was unhappy in the relationship due to constant arguing and he's under depression too
We broke up in good terms though so we didn't remove each other on social media
He still likes some of my new pictures and watches my stories on instagram
So 1 week later, he messaged me:
"hey im sorry for everything, im just under depression and doctors prescribed me pills so i can't have a partner in my life right now, but we can still be friends and go out to the movies, take care"
And then i replied:
"hey, hope you're ok, but yeah i need my space, so i can't see you in the meantime, hopefully you'll respect and understand that"
and then he replied:
"okay"
So tomorrow is Valentines day and before we broke up, we both wanted to watch this movie called Black panther
Today, he texted me out of no where:
Him - hey, I want to watch black panther tomorrow, do you want to come? If not, its ok i will go by myself
Me - yeh what time and where?
Him - call me when you're free to talk, coz i might have to book it
He double texted me whenever i reply late to his messages
So an hour later, I called him:
Him -hey how are u?
Me - yeh im alrite
Him - thats good um so tomorrow do u wanna go to the late session or is it too late for u?
Me - yeh fine by me
Him -ok cool ill book the tickets now and ill pick u up tomorrow
Me - ok no worries
Him - did u wanna go have dinner first?
Me -nah ill eat at home
Him - ok cool
Me - isn't the movie coming out on thurs?
Him - yeh but tomoro is a special event
Me -oh.. ok.. anyway ill see u tmoro then
And then after we hanged up, few minutes later, he sent me a pic that he booked it
Why does he want to go with me?
Does he not remember that its valentines day tomorrow?
Out of all days, he picked tomorrow?
Whenever when we go to the movies before the break up, we would always go there to buy the tickets
We had never book tickets online
I still have feelings for him by the way 😕

So I see some people that are okay with being friends with their ex
I've never been friends with any of my exes
Whenever an ex of mine pops up, they either want to get back together or hook up
Anyway, my recent ex boyfriend broke up with me 1 week ago , because he was unhappy and I was unhappy in the relationship too and thinks we are not compatible since we fight a lot and all that stuff
We've been together for 1 and a half years
This is both our longest relationship
But we are still friends on facebook and still follow each other on instagram
He still likes my pictures on facebook and watches my stories on instagram
We haven't spoken since the break up though which was 1 week ago
I do still care and have feelings for him but we both know it won't work out right now and Im accepting it
But Im not sure if he still wants to be friends after the break up?
If he didn't remove me, doesn't that mean he's open with being friends?
He doesn't have any of his other exes on any of his social media
And I dont have any of my other exes on my social media
So its kinda awkward :\
