So, I’ll keep a long story very short. There’s a girl I’ve been talking to on and off, we get on however everything seems to be on her terms of late. We got into contact after an argument whereby I admittedly made a mistake however that has been patched up.

When we got back into contact after a very short time she said due to furlough she’s struggling with rent, and I helped her out. She seemed extremely thankful and asked how she could repay me, I just said all I wanted was her time. Nothing more. She said when things go back to normal we will try again with what we started, we were close.

We spoke for a few more days then she mentioned something else she is struggling with, ironically it was financially again however I was reluctant to help as it was supposedly for medication. Since I have helped she’s practically been non existent.

She does suffer with depression and anxiety issues, all of which I’m far too familiar with but uses it far too regularly as an excuse for not being in contact. I for one know that it isn’t an excuse, since she will regularly post updates on some forms of social media which are essentially posted more for attention rather than reason. I initiated a conversation after around a week of hearing nothing, she stated she was “too unwell to talk” even though her tiktok was being updated daily.

Should I just cut her off, or ask her outright when she planned on actually talking? Because I don’t want that point to be when she’s needing money and I basically tell her where to go 😂
