It is hard as girls (and I'm sure guys too) to read the signals that the other sex gives off.

I have a guy friend that I am interested in and when we first met he really didn't have any physical contact. As we got to know each other he started resting his hand on my shoulder. The other day, he rested his hand on my lower back every time he talked to me which was about 6-8 times that night. He also held the same gesture when he let me walk in front of him to go through a door.

No correct me if I am wrong, but guys just don't do that to any and all girls? Am I jumping too soon? Is that not something that guys do unconsciously/ consciously?

We had a GREAT day yesterday, and he even extended it so we could hang out more. We rode horses, and then ate dinner. did the whole 'lady and the tramp noodle thing', sat on the couch, watched TV and made out. it was fun. I drove him home and we held hands the whole way like we usually do, and he ended up telling me about his past. he was majorly bullied, but I won't get into it. he cried in front of me for the first time. I was really happy when he opened up to me. BUT, when he got out of the car... something happened... something I overlooked at the time. He was out the door and about to shut it. I said good night and told him I loved him. the door was still open. and he shut it without saying it back. the reason I overlooked it is because when he was walking away he looked back at me and made a heart signal with his hands, then smiled at me and went inside.

that night, I was waiting for him to get on Facebook and make sure that I made it home alright. I told him I was home and sent him 'Tied Together With a Smile' by taylor swift, cause I heard it on the way home and it made me think of him and his past. he saw my messages, but didn't reply. now it's the next day, we were going to try to hang out if he got his cleaning done early, it's 4 in the afternoon, usually he talks to me by now but hasn't yet. I Haven't heard from him all day.

Did I do something wrong? should I give him space? should I try to call him (haven't called him yet)? I don't understand why he hasn't talked to me since yesterday. I have this weird feeling that he's angry at me or doesn't want to spend time with me, and I feel like if I send him a message asking if he's mad he'll think I'm clingy. is he not talking cause he shared his past with me? what do you think?
