This is a long story but;
My best friend is a serial dater, which I'm not mad about. As long as he's being safe I support him.
That said after 1 week of dating someone new they always want to meet me because as my friend says "I talk about you a lot so they want to get to know you." To which I say, thats nice but it's been a week, shouldn't they get to know YOU first?
Regardless I try to be a good friend and meet them anyway because I know he wants my opinion.
The real problem comes in when my friend inevitably gets bored or finds some fault with this man no longer than 2-3 months into dating him.
At that point since we did the whole try to get along because your dating my friend thing, almost every time he breaks up with someone, I get harassed by the hearts he's breaking.
I no longer accept friend requests on any platform from the guys he's dating but despite that they still try to message me asking about my friends feelings.
I will readily admit only about 50% of the time do I believe my friend has a legit reason for ending the relationship, so it does make him an asshole and I get them wanting answers more than "it's just not working out"
My question is am I a bad friend for asking that he dates them at least a month before involving me? Is there a better time frame? Or is this a hopeless cause regardless of timing because my friend is great in so many ways but dating isn't one of them?

So my boyfriend was texting my best friend a lot and he took a while to respond to me. I felt jealous in a way because it’s how I get due to the way I was treated before. So I told my best friend but she told him and he tried to ask me what was wrong but I thought it was stupid so I tried to get him to avoid it. So what HE did was go to my best friend and say mean things about me such as how I was toxic, I didn’t care about how he felt, how he’d break up with me if I didn’t trust him by the end of the year because he’s been trying to gain my trust for almost a year (keep in mind he told me that he’d never leave me so when I found out he said this I was devastated and angry), and that I was an unsolved person. I have told him that if he ever has a problem with me to come and talk to me because it’s part of communication, but no he went to my best friend, said a bunch of stuff about me, and then lied to my face when I asked him something at school. So I felt really angry and ended up scheming behind his back. This is what “I” did: so I was really angry and I was ready to confront him this coming up Monday and give him an ultimatum but I was getting really impatient so I had my best friend send a lot of stuff to him and they ended up arguing. I was on her account the whole time so I knew what was happening but at the same time when he was texting MY account I was acting clueless. I was really mad and I believe that me scheming behind his back is how I retaliated to him lying to my face, saying things behind my back, and refusing to listen to what I’m trying to say. Well now that we talked about some of the things he said I realized that when I tell him about me scheming behind his back on Monday then he might hate me. I don’t know what to do and I don’t know who’s right or wrong (for all I know we could both be in the wrong). I also just want to know who did more hurtful things. My best friend said it’s 50/50 bc we both did wrong. Can someone please help? And explain?

i liked this guy since elementary school, and we kinda grew up toghether, we're not that close, but me and his sister are best friends. he is Always polite with me. he never texts me first, i used to be the one to to say hi and try to text him , but his replies were Always short. then i stopped texting him, i thought he didn't like me back and i tried to move on , i had a crush on a guy, and he found out, he never talked to me, but whenever he sees that guy , he would look mad and jealous, but still never told me anything. i don't text him, i talk to him if i need something and he Always answers me, when he can and explains things to me. on my 22 birthday i got surprised i got a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY " from him, but still i don't wanna be hallucinating. i'm too shy to ask him about such things or i try to not force myself on him as before, he is the one now that say hi and how are you doing when we meet, even when i don't talk to him. does that mean he like me? how can i tell if he like me next time we meet?
