It literally drives me insane because my mothers side of the family constantly gossips about me and it's always negative. My dads side gossips to but it's usually stuff like "why does she stay in her room all the time, I don't like her because of that/why is she soo quiet". I know that my mom and grandmother gossip about me but its annoying when I can hear them through the bathroom my grandmother talks about how im soo greedy and my mom was complaining about how I dislike it when she goes to a store and says that she just wants to look for stuff but ends up shopping and taking a long time instead so my grandmother called me selfish then they started listing other things that make me "selfish" (none of these things are selfish it's just that my mom dramaticizes it) then they both started to talk bad about my hair and made hurtful comments about my apperance. When I came into my grandmothers room because it was time to leave and she commented(in a fake polite way) about my hair and said that I should do something to it, I tried explaining to her that I can't flat press my hair everyday and that im less worried because it's spring break but she cut me off and said that it would look better if it was straight. And no I can't talk to them about it because I did before and either way they will continue to gossip. It's really annoying because they think that they know everything about me and that im this nasty, unkempt, lazy, greedy, selfish, stand offish girl just because of the little things that I do.
