My relationship with exercise & my body has seriously been a roller coaster ride. I’ve starved myself & worked out multiple hours to fit into certain clothes. I gave up exercising for awhile, because I wasn’t gaining the results I wanted immediately. I’m tired of viewing exercise & my body in a negative way. The last few years, I’ve fully embraced the bopo (body positivity) movement! I now exercise just for my health alone. NOT to fit into clothes better. NOT to achieve a body others tell me I should have. NOT as a way to punish myself for loving food. Everyone’s road to a healthy life is a personal journey. Healthy can appear differently on every different person. Skinny isn’t the sole definition of a healthy body. Being too underweight is just as unhealthy as being too overweight. Health should be the #1 priority! Not how you appear to others & becoming more attractive to them. Change for YOU. Love yourself through ALL your bodily changes!

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 21. We have dated for 7 months now but before we dated we knew each other for a year. When I'm with him, everything is so simple. Talking about anything and everything is always so fun, even when it is just about our day. We know each other very well now, we are completely unmasked, and I always feel at home with him. He's the first person that I've ever felt this clingy towards. He is one of few I have fun with hanging out one-on-one.
But it's finals week. I'm used to seeing him for a couple hours every day, but sometimes he has to study for an exam for a day or two. Whenever this happens, I get really lonely. My roommate also moved out so I'm in a room by myself. I have a friend group, but we don't hang out individually because we click better as a group, and some members are living off-campus so we can't get together every night like we used to. It takes a very special person for me to like hanging out with them one-on-one since I do much better in groups, and because of that, when he leaves I don't have much to do.
The hobbies I tried to develop fell through (making bracelets--I broke the needle. Got frustrated as hell) and clubs on campus seem more interested in spicing up resumes rather than actually doing stuff. I'm a little different, so are my friends, so it's hard to find someone for me to really enjoy being around.
So I'll sit in my dorm, watch YouTube and I'll feel guilty for wasting the day away. I get great grades and everything, I work out and try to eat healthily, but I guess I want to know-what are fun, cheap, productive things to do by yourself? I hate to burden him. Is it unhealthy how much I cling onto him? Is it weird I have issues with one-on-one relationships?
