The lady I go pick up my medicine from (I have Addison’s disease) was recently throwing up blood and my boyfriend was with me at the time. (We are social distancing together). That sounds scary, I know. However, the lady had been throwing up blood at least a month prior, has had no fever or any other symptoms, and hasn’t been exposed to anything. (She has told me before she is currently on steroids for graves and whenever she takes ibuprofen, it causes her stomach to bleed and then she ends up throwing it up - they tell you not to take ibuprofen, etc. when on steroids specifically for this reason). I tried to explain this to my boyfriend after the fact and he wouldn’t listen. He automatically thought it was the coronavirus and started taking it out on me and saying it was my fault, even though I gave him the choice to come with me or not. I did not force him to come in any way. Also, had I known she was experiencing those symptoms, I wouldn’t have gone anyways just as a precaution. I would’ve figured something else out somehow. So my question is, had we actually been exposed, would it be my fault? Is it right to blame me for that? Personally, I don’t think so because I had no idea and gave him the choice to come or not. Ultimately, he decided to come and I was honestly pretty hurt that he’d turn on me like that. But that’s just my own opinion and I’d like to hear from others as well. Thanks in advance!
