Here are some reasons banning guns in the US is a bad idea

About only 2,000- 3,000 deaths where innocent. There was an average of 30 deaths per year that where students shot in school shootings.

This means that you have 0.0000000923 % chance of dying from a school shooting in the us and a 0.0001032729% chance of dying from a shooting in general (whether you're a innocent or not ) but this number may be higher in more dangerous areas (like south side chicago)

2) crime rates will SOAR

You might have heard that Australia banned guns and haven't had a shooting in years, but they do have one of the worlds highest reports of sexual assault. Venezuala also banned legal ownership of guns, and they are the country with the second most gun deaths in the world.

In Britain, its extremely hard to get a gun and there are 3x as more rapes than in the us.
