I've been talking to this girl on GAG. She's not a bad person, but every time we start talking about history, politics and religion we end up arguing. We come from two completely different cultures and have opposing ideologies. She says a lot of things I am extremely uncomfortable with and only sees the wrongs of others, not the wrongs of her own religion/country. So naturally I defend mine and she defends hers, and we always end up fighting. Sometimes her views scare me even.
We stopped being friends for a while because of it, but then started talking again and she stopped talking about those topics for a while, but then started again. Yesterday we had a huge fight and I told her off and her feelings got hurt. I blocked her last night, but I unblocked her this morning 'cuz I felt bad, because she has a crush on me. Last time it was a lot easier, because I didn't know she had a crush on me. Now I feel bad because I know what it feels like to be completely shunned by your crush. My block removed me from her followers, so now I have no way of contacting her. Part of me wants to, part of me doesn't. I'm afraid it'll be the same thing. And the only reason I feel bad is because she has a crush on me. I don't even know why.

She's nearly a decade younger than me and thinks she knows everything, and when I show her evidence to disprove her claims she gets angry and dodges the topic, because she can't bare the fact that her people have done wrong. She talks about stuff my people did in the PAST! I talk about stuff her people did in the PRESENT! But the present doesn't matter to her.

I don't know if I should keep talking to her. All she does is stress me and make me upset. But people rarely have a crush on me. I know we won't date anyways. I know her views won't change and neither will mine. But I don't want HER to be sad

What do you think? Should I keep talking to this girl or not?

I mean if someone insulted your religion, skin colour , sexuality or asked you for nudes and stuff and you had a really bad experience with them.
I have seen many creepy African, Indian, anti-LGBT and anti-islamic opinions over here. So
Would you start hating their race altogether in real life too or will you ignore those online idiots and focus on if the person you see in real life is a good human and worthy of your trust and friendship.

Just had 5 of my questions pulled about science and race relations. I don't understand why talking about immunology in connection with cancer treatment is bad? Also why talking about whether or not it's cultural appropriation for the Catholics to adopt teaching math as part of their religion from Judaism is wrong.

Is this true? Most of the time I think it is.
The crusades are described as bad because monarchy fell in Europe. The comfederate states are described as bad because the union won, Islamic oppression and bloodsheds are described as great and peaceful because the Islamic religion spreaded across the world. Isn't it weird that 99% of the time it's described as if the winners were the good ones?
