I was curious to hear what the wonderful and always awesome people on here have to think about this. What kind of relationship status brings you the happy?

I was talking about this with my brother the other day, We both learned how to be very good at single and having multiple FWBs but it never made us genuinely happy as being in a relationship or married ( he is, I’m not lol).

So, be honest, what kind of relationship status makes you happy and why?

Met a girl, we talked and eventually she stated that she has been hurt in relationships before so now she doesn't really let people get so close to her that easily. At that moment I thought I was fine with it since I'm patient but then she replied with a ""That's good. But if I can find someone, who will be able to melt my cold heard and somehow get over it, then all will be fine.''

So my question - is something like that a red flag? I mean, she was at least being honest. From what I know, in most cases with women like this - this is how they feel but they wouldn't just directly tell you that.

Do I give her a chance or is this a bit sketchy?

I am a white guy, and I have had two interracial relationships with Indian women (one hindu, one muslim). I would be lying if I said these were good experiences. While I don't bear any animosity for my exes, or have any hard feelings towards anyone who got caught up in the drama, I basically realized today that I am not impressed with the interactions I've had with the indians (especially the Hindu people) I've met. Honestly, I haven't liked them as people. I didn't appreciate certain world views they had and the way they treated other people. Things just didn't sit well with me.

Earlier this week I had beers and cooked a meal with an Indian guy from Trinidad. We just met that day and had a great time. Some personalities mesh well together for an evening like that. I guess I am including this part to explain that I get along with the people I get along with.

But, that experience made me wonder if I would be willing to have another relationship with an Indian girl. It just seems like the cultural elements don't lineup very comfortably.

Again, just being honest: if I was presented the choice to date an Indian woman, I would pass. Is that racist?
