Search Results: being too forward

So I am a terrible cook, you would never want to trust me to make a hot meal unsupervised in your house or my own.

My family as a whole get worried whenever I say that I plan on making a hot meal for lunch, they always say

"how about you just have a sandwich"
"How about you try just making cup noodles"
"If you really want a hot meal, I'll do it for you"

This isn't a case of me not being taught how to cook, I took cooking classes in school and ironically I was good at it back then, for some reason I always make bad food when at home...

Ribs
I have had them come out black before and taste awful. I misread the temperature needed and put it too high :'(

Boiled egg
I have set the flame to hot and ruined many eggs, my idea was that you can't really make it bad if it is boiled because what even does it become after it is boiled... it just starts to taste less tasty...

Fried egg
I burnt it... I added to much oil and set off the smoke alarm...

Fried bread
Burnt it as well... Smoke alarm situation again, I was really looking forward to having it as well :'(

Cheese on toast
Nearly filled the kitchen with smoke, it was definitely not edible when it came out. This was another temperature setting fail and also a time duration fail, I really messed this one up.


Cheese toasty
Essentially just cheese on toast but in a sandwich, you can't ruin this right? Well... I am bad with observing when it is done in the grilling thingy we have, you use it to put the sandwich in and then press it down to cook it, the issue is that I am bad at telling when it is done and also I suck at remembering the temperature to set it at.
