So I recently starting texting with this guy I used to like. The feelings were mutual then but we never did anything about because we never knew how the other felt until just recently when it randomly came up in a conversation about the past.
Now, he and I both went through a harsh breakup and somehow ended up speaking to each other again. he's gone 4 months without her and I've gone 2 months.
anyway, we have been going out to eat together and going to the movies for almost a full month. Texting practically every day with only having two occasions where we go two days without texting. when we are together he has brought up his ex but mainly to point out the things he didn't like about the relationship. He will usually finish with 'but i know she's happier with the other guy so I'm fine.' Then he will teasingly pick on me and we will laugh and so on. When we are together, he leans in closer to me (like at the movies) and I've also noticed he stands closer to me than a regular friend would. BUT then he teases me by saying 'whoa, you act like if im your boyfriend, friends don't act like that towards friends.' so I find it hard to tell if he's into me or really is just trying to find comfort in an old friend. He looks at my lips constantly while I speak. I forget some of the things he tells me but as we text about some of those things, he says 'see, I listen to what you say'
so you see, I'm utterly, hopelessly confused. We talk about how ways I could get a guy and he gives advice using what he would prefer. so like, help please..

OK, so here's the deal. I recently ended my 3 year relationship, and thought I was getting somewhere with someone else. Of course, the new guy wasn't the reason why I left my ex. I was cheated on and lied to and I just couldn't get over it. Anyhow, That's not why I'm here. I met this guy at work and of course he chased after me for about a month. Talking to my co-workers about me and eventually talking to me. Everything was great, he was simply an amazing friend and we had tons in common. He's call me to check on me and even gave great advice regarding my breakup. We eventually did get to the point were we admitted we liked each other but weren't sure where we'd be going. Well it all changed drastically. We did sleep together eventually but things were the same. He was still as sweet as ever. He had me meet his friends, I'd pick up his keys from work and we'd hang out and talk all night. I felt like he was turning me into a girlfriend but of course he never introduced me with that title. I didn't want to get to attached so I started acting a little bit different. I simply didn't want him to feel like I "needed" him. I'd rush him off the phone, I wouldn't text him as much, and I got a little mouthy because he called me "babe" via text and such. I know I sound a little crazy but he was really moving quickly for me emotion-wise. After all that, he was still OK. We talked but not as much, but the sex was still amazing. All of a sudden, everything changed. Now we barely talk, not even at work. And we only text when we want to hang out. But thing is we never get through a movie. Things have gotten really predictable and he stops texting back if I tell him I can't come over. He was really amazing a first, at least as a friend. We no longer have conversations, it's more "Hey." "What are you doing?" "Stop by." He constantly cancels plans now. I kind of want to see where this would go but I'm frustrated because it feels like I'm being turned into a glorified booty call. Help!
