So I’m in my mid twenties and I feel like I am really cursed when it comes to people. I don’t have any close friends, the only people that I interact with on a social basis are online (met through gaming/apps etc). I’m very quiet and am at a point where I’m truly bitter. I do not speak with my family regularly, my father lives out of state & my mother and I are arguing. I don’t like my coworkers and know that some don’t like me either. When it comes to dating, I’ve truly given up. That’s why my mother and I are not talking, she made a statement about how I’m the issue & I play a part in my lack of relationships. I only attract men that I don’t want and the ones I like only want sex/don’t like me back/ are jerks etc. Since I don’t have anyone that can introduce me to people, I use the apps and they’re terrible. People say dating apps work but others say that they’re terrible too. I’m told I’m pretty but can confidently say that I may not be, due to the lack of attention received by the opposite sex.

Around two weeks ago, my mother and I got in a heated argument. A few times, I’ve told her that I think I’m cursed with interpersonal relationships. I have no friends, the friendships I’ve had either dwindled or I stop talking to them because I felt like I was putting in more work. Regarding romantic relationships, I’m in my twenties and only been on dates , nothing serious. It goes like this: the guys I find attractive only want hook-ups or are jerks & the ones that like me I don’t find attractive. I’m told I’m pretty, I think I’m cute but even when I was skinnier I didn’t get much attention. She thinks that it’s because I’m still guarded, but that doesn’t mean anything. If someone is attractive, they will get attention regardless of personality. The dating apps are my only outlet to meet people, she thinks they work while me & everyone else think they’re trash. A lot of the guys stop messaging or seem to never log on again. Because I told her that I want to date a guy I find attractive/taller than me, I’ve rejected a few guys that were decent looking but my height or an inch taller. She thinks I’m shallow & that I can end up alone, which is one of the reasons why I’m having these issues. I left her at the restaurant & had her take an Uber (true story). She’s saying that I’m having a hard time with the apps & it’s mostly my fault, clearly not the case. All these guys are flakes or just creepy.

I called (owners of the house) and asked if they wanted me to organize the closet (I had done so with other forgotten areas). They thanked me and said not to worry as at some point when they get around to it, it will all be thrown or. Which is what I expected and hoped for 😉.

Well I of course offered to get rid of the items and they of course, thanked me. When finished, Seeing as the space was completely empty and not in use, I inquired as to whether they would be averse to my temporarily using it as a private work space.😁

These are kind people - they like you - queried why I would choose a closet instead of making use of any myriad tables in the house. With some effort in persuasion, I successfully assured them I was seeking and _ prefer _the kind of sublime solitude that only a window less cubby hole, can provide 🤓

In really I’m apprehensive to the possibility they may arrive early, unannounced And find me jerking off to my favorite porn collection.

In truth, I am concerned with and consistently making a concerted effort to not disrupt the integrity of the order of the house. All my stuff is in storage on the porch, along with MrMr and Bella. I get dressed there and collect the laundry there. I sleep in a bedroom but her an air bed and all my ken linen towels my one dish lol I don’t use anymore area other than living room bc guests are likely to go there anyhow.

I have been here as a guest/care taker for a few months. That is the length of a partial lease. I don’t want to inadvertently spread out And have them return feeling the House has been commandeered.

I am very grateful for the offer made early on in the pandemic, when I had already been sick for a long time. The fresh air and space has done wonders and I just want to leave everything as is and a bit better Than I found it. 🙇‍♀️
