Alright so I’ve been saving up to go on a trip this winter with my friend. I want to surprise her as a birthday/Christmas gift to go somewhere.
This would be January 6th-9th. We are both 21. I have a budget of spending $700 total on the both of us. (She will pay for food and activities)
We live in the Midwest where the weather especially in winter is unpredictable snow wise. Meaning the forecast could say no snow or like a thin coating and it could be a huge ice/snow storm.

Idea 1 - we both love going to the airport and looking around and planes. They have this airplane service at our local airport called southern airways express which is small planes and it’s cheap to fly. They are regional flights though (less than an hour). I was thinking we could take one to Baltimore (it makes two stops before it gets there) but total flight time with stops is less than 3 hours. And we could stay in the inner harbor for 2 nights and fly back. Less than $100 per night to stay in Baltimore at a nice hotel.

2nd option is - take a train to DC (9 hour train ride) and stay in DC for 3 nights. Again, SUPER cheap for a nice hotel. Train tickets are cheaper than flights to DC.

3rd option - drive 7 hours to a huge indoor waterpark/ski resort in the mountains and stay 2 nights. Food and arcade credits included in the package deal with 6 free snow tubing passes and admission to waterpark.

4th option would be to fly to Orlando Florida on spirit airlines (super cheap) hotels are kinda expensive and the amusement parks are expensive af so I have no idea what we would do.

Last option would be to take a train to NYC (12 hour train ride) cheap Amtrak tickets but hotels are kinda pricey and we would spent 2 nights there and travel back.

I have a crush on my coworker who is in a loving relationship already. I don’t flirt or make any moves and I filter everything I say 100x more than I would in a normal friend conversation. But, I purposely pretend to forget his birthday as part of that... we aren’t friends really, but we get along well and talk a lot at work. Was this a bad thing for me to do?

So, it's my birthday today and it's been nice- I opened my presents, I went to college a few people wished me happy birthday after college I went to the bank because that's the number one location to throw a party- especially for a broke person... Justing kidding😂I went there to get some stuff sorted, then I went home, my mum bought fish and chips, then I went upstairs and washed my hair so I could try out my new hairdryer with a diffuser😂😂And to be honest, I've just been chilling pretty much all day- which is how I like it- I hate throwing a fuss like parties and all that- too lazy😂 Anyway, my mum got me these two outfits:

PS: I just want to get credit to my awesome friend @VIVANT because she always does the dig or donate stuff so her posts gave me this idea- obviously she does it best, but it can't hurt if I give it a go- right? xD
